Hello dear friends, sponsor and supporters. Before do you a brief summary of my summer 2015 and on my Detroit and Edmonton World Cup race. I must talk to you about what I did during two months before these two races, but before I have to comeback on what happened at the World Cup in Monterrey in Mexico.
Here is the analytic look for the bad performance I did At Monterey world cup.
This race did not go as we expected before I left my California winter camp. When we look at the data analysis after the race, we discovered that I was suffering of high accumulate fatigue or overtraining. How come? I did not respect the plan I had. Why? I did more bike workouts that I was supposed. One of my best Québec training partner, is a strong paracycling athlete on team Canada and came down for 2 weeks to train with me. In addiction of that, It was on a high stress level caused by a lack of money to go to the Monterey world cup race. To finish my Monterey world cup race story, I was able to racing there because my Sonoma triathlon friends from HIGHWAY 12 gave me the money I needed for. My finances was not enough high to race and also to buy a ticket plane to come back home in Canada.
After Mexico How goes my training time back in Québec city?
Whenever I return to Quebec after a long period of absence I come back at my duties as Manager business and massage therapist and as a full time athlete.
Being busy like that it does not help at the performance I have to be for the upcoming competitions. All the energy that I put out of my training has bad effects on my recovery times. Then the fatigue level increases significantly and the quality of training decreases. Which is very bad for an athlete of high level as I am.
So I have to do everything together. I train 4-6hrs/day (Mon-Fri). Working 2-4hrs/day (Mon-Fri) 2-6hrs train on Saturday and Sunday. IN ADDITION, find funding and sponsors and maintain my relationships with my sponsors already present with me 1-3h/week, The work I put on my racing equipment as a maintenance 3 hrs/week, finally if I am not too tired I’ll try to have a social evening of 3 hours/ week. So you understand that my days and weeks are FULL. When do I take my time for my rest between workouts, get a massage, see the therapist hypnosis and other service needs to help me perform?
Are there someone, an organization, and a group of people who is interested to work and give time to put together a team or a group of people to organize and manage events of funding?
I can offer training services running and nutrition, Services of Djing or motivational support in exchange for a big donation amount to finance my needs for my qualification for the Olympics. These services could be after or during the qualification period for Rio.
